with Riley, he sees her and wants her back. I thought Athena was going to cause problems but it was Riley's ex. The wedding was very unique in two different ways. Definitely recommend that you read it. The best part, no cliffhanger.
This is my first title by this author and I must say she has gained a new reader of work. I loved the chemistry between Riley and Ari and I loved that they wasted no time pushing forward and showing the world that love can be better the second time around.
Now Arden was a whole different story! At times I wanted to jump in the book and slap the living snot out of her. I am curious to see if she will have her day.
Ari and Riley was hot from the beginning to the end. Yes their was a few haters (like Anden and her crew and a few people that wrote reviews on this book.) They was still able to make it through all the drama and BS and stay stronger then ever. Now her girls have her back through it all too, Athena and Day, Dell are not to be played with. You will enjoy this series like know other, this author is new to me but I will be keeping a eye out for any other of Embue's work. If you looking for something funny and sexy with a little drama, but a strong sisterhood. This is the book for you, won't be disappointed, oh and the brother's ain't short none either )
I chose this rating because 0 stars wasn't an option. It's a short non-story that seems to jump all over the place. The only thing that stayed on course was the sex scenes which were borderline stupid. Too many non purposeful secondary cast and scenes that didn't add to promote the plot.
Kinda pissed that I wasted my time and money but glad it was a short non-story so my misery was short lived.
No Other Love by Embue was an interesting read. A story of new found love erupting from tragedy makes for good reading. I enjoyed many aspects of the story. I understand because it is a series, more of the characters will most likely emerge in later installments. What I did struggle with was the seemingly contrived dialogue between the main characters Ari and Riley. Some of the things attributed to the male voice came across as unrealistic. The word simply was overused and instead of enhancing the conversation or the thought process, it became more of a nuisance. All in all it was a good story and for that reason I give it 3 stars with a push.
Hot Sexy Steamy Romance...gotta say i loved the story....also it is so good to see a woman go after what she wants meaning being educated and going after the job she wanted also not to feel guilty about it or being called a man hater because of it.. nothing better than to see intelligent women that knows what she wants...
I loved the chemistry between Ari and Riley i am not usually go for the instant hook up but it worked for this couple and hot hot hot it was loved it...loved Ari did not take no mess and stood firm as what she wanted ...you know it was some drama in the book...trying to break the couple up but cant do that when its " no other love"
I loved Ari and her crazy beans girlfriends that had her back from jump and when things got hot in the kitchen really excited to know this will be series looking forward to more sexy reads...job well done..keep em coming...
Ari Garrison is a woman on a mission. She is trying to move up in her career and is handling that, but she is alone in her bed and is tired of handling that, alone. Her friend Athena and others convince her to go out with them one night and she does, reluctantly. But, that one night of dancing changes the course of her love life. She meets Newman who is mesmerized by her moves on the dance floor and immediately a hot in the sheets romance ensues.
However before she can say "Ari's Got Her Groove Back" her ex and Newman's ex are showing their true colors and are bound and determined to throw shade on her sunshine; and it might not just be exes who are feeling some kind of way!
No Other Love is a quick, roller coaster of a love story that is filled with just enough heat and drama to keep the reader turning the page either for the next love scene or to see what is going to transpire next in the the life of Ari and Newman. I recommend this book to those who enjoy their love stories filled with passion, drama and a twist or two.

This was the start of something good. I really enjoyed this story and I am thrilled it will be a series. This story was an intelligent and sexy erotic romance.
Ari and Riley are connected by something bigger than the both of them. While I am not a fan of quick hook-up's this worked for me. The storyline was well done and the characters fully developed, I believed that Ari and Riley were fated and believed the quick bonding between these two. I am such a sucker for an alpha male and Riley did not disappoint me. He made sure Ari wanted for nothing and felt like the center of his world. The love scenes between these two were explosive (have mercy). I am so glad Ari held her own when faced with the woman from Riley's past. She stood firm and made it clear she was the present and home- girl was in the past.
Ari and her girlfriends cracked me up! I want to thank the author for making these friends real and loyal. I like that they supported Ari, protected her and did not take advantage of her; it shows the up side of having lifelong friends. The scene in the hospital was priceless!
The end felt a bit rushed but I am not sure if that is because I wanted more of Ari and Riley or if the end of the story needed more. Nevertheless, I am so pleased part two will be out in November. Athena deserves her own story and HEA.
Get this book you will not be disappointed.
